This is Bryan on behalf of Elliot aka DJ Equal. About a month ago, we were sitting in Elliot's tiny Manhattan apartment when he had this idea to do a live mix for the website. We decided that they should all be Morning songs. You know the jam that gets you started as soon as you get out of bed? That also determined the most recent Broken Branches.

Once it was decided, I collected Morning songs from the entire lovebryan family and delivered them to Elliot. He laid down a one-take mix of the compilation using everything for better or for worse. Elliot had to stop off at the store and get some magic juice to keep him going.

He has a crystal collection for inspiration.

svvvvitzzaarrland and norway avec mon ami louis

2 weeks ago me and my pal louis logic headed over to europe for a weekend of fun in the sun! well there wasnt so much sun but we did have some fun and there were no guns! first stop was Winterthur, Switzerland.

here is the street that the hotel/venue overlooked. we arrived at 8am and the market was in full swing! unfortunately I didnt have any swiss francs so I couldnt induldge myself

then I napped all day, when I woke up, after a quick soundcheck, the big local radio station came through and did an interview with Louis. I interjected with loud obnoxious questions. This however is a picture of Louis's friend Christian who came down from St. Gallen to hang out with us. I ate that whole bowl of olives.

Louis jumps into the crowd for some personal rapping. Where did all the girls in the crowd run to during this photo? OH yeah there werent many. sometimes, even in europe, hip hop shows are 80/20. great turn out, mediocre scenery.

these dudes were hype, and made my take their picture many times until they liked it. dont know why they chose this one.

one morning at 9am a nice lil fruit and vegetable market, the next morning, death metal x house music parade. apparently this is a traditional college graduation celebration. vibrated my hotel room. 9am. uggh. couldnt really be mad though.. it was tres bizarre!

we totally got to the airport with plenty of time to kill before our flight to oslo. so it was time to drink! all you can see if the straw from my double bloody. mmmmmm

didnt get too many pictures in oslo, but here is one of team mishka!

Defari held a drinking contest during his set. People cheered for the girl on the right, booed the girl in the middle, and ended up awarding the dude on the left the winner. his prize? a defari cd.
