lately: bike rides, car trips, gnar car crashes, food experiments, new tattoo, summer class, getting stiches for my sliced open hand.

tunnel road ride in the rain with logan, kath, and robin

turned into sunshine and ended with greasy great wall mockmeat

Ocean was skullcrushingly epic

was strung out just enough to appreciate burnt ramen

Then a carfull of kids from the SLHC came up to portland for gnarly hangoutsesh and see a few kids get married on 6/6/6. I learned a few things:

- Oregon has the highest rate of both obesity and illiteracy of all the states.
- There are over 50 strip clubs in Portland (pop. of just over 1 mill).
- Beer is cheap.
- Portland is far more vegan friendly than the bay area.
- "Stripperaoke" is far more boring than it sounds.
- Always wear a seat belt.

Diego hooked it up with bikes.

we simultaneously wrecked catherine's car and the wedding of casey and jaime by running a stop sign, which got us t-boned by a jeep cherokee going 45-50. Like an idiot, i didn't get any badass photos (but i think someone did). i made off with a soft tissue hematoma to the head, whiplash, and cervical strain (wtf??), but catherine got it the worst.

here's after. you can't see the brokenness of the nose too well. we made off ok though and the wedding resumed after 6 hours of sitting around in a hospital. If the devil did it, he's apparently a big fucking wuss. according to the nurses though, there WAS an large increase in injuries/deaths on that fateful 6/6/6.
