San Francisco is a small city and it only got smaller when the Queen Mary 2 sailed beneath the Golden Gate and into port. She's the largest ship to ever enter the San Francisco Bay. She dwarfed Alcatraz, and all the boats that came to greet her looked like gnats annoying the slow-moving giant. The Titanic was 250 feet short of this voluminous vessel. I was lucky enough to catch this sight while out on a Sunday ride.
