The South is a bizarre place. Like it or not, it's an ongoing theme for this website. With a good portion of the site's contributors hailing from America's armpit, the South will rise again and again. At least in photographic form. While I'm sure that most of us actually think fondly of the region, there is still a need to distinguish ourselves from the ethos of ignorance that underlies Southern culture. In his most recent blog, Mike Belleme takes a look at the South's most peculiar species, the Redneck. Y'all have probably already read this but I still think it deserves some attention. Click it again and realize that is where we grew up and some of us still live. Now let out a rebel yell in homage.
